Homes for Londoners Board
The Mayor is personally overseeing efforts to raise homebuilding in London. To do this he has established a board, which he chairs, that brings together expertise from the Greater London Authority (GLA), London Councils, Transport for London, London’s largest housing associations and representatives of London's property sector.
The board meets quarterly and has oversight of:
- overall housing delivery across London
- the statutory London Housing Strategy
- housing, planning and infrastructure coordination
- delivering housing investment programmes
- land held by the Mayor and other public bodies
- a task-and-finish work programme for policy development and innovation.
